Dr. Richard C. Parfitt, Facial Plastic Surgeon, is double board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS). He is also a fellow member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.

A graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School, Dr. Parfitt completed his residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. Dr. Parfitt completed his fellowship training and sub-specialization in Facial Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, CA. While in Beverly Hills, Dr. Parfitt trained with some of the biggest names in the field of facial cosmetic surgery, oculoplastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology — names like Dr. Walter Berman, Dr. Frank Kamer, Dr. Henry Baylis, Dr. Norman Shorr and Dr. Zein Obagi, the developer of Obagi Medical skin care products and the Obagi Blue Peel. He was also a surgical instructor at UCLA in the field of cosmetic facial plastic surgery from 1995-1996.

Having met the stringent requirements necessary to become a fellow member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons and a full member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, to include a year of fellowship training in Beverly Hills, he is the only plastic surgeon in Madison, WI devoting his entire practice to cosmetic surgery of the face.

Dr. Parfitt founded Parfitt Facial Cosmetic Surgery Center in Madison, WI in 1996. His surgical practice has been devoted exclusively to cosmetic surgery of the face for the past 13 years. All of his surgeries are performed on-site, in this private, state-of-the-art surgical suite.

Dr. Parfitt had also been offering non-surgical treatments such as BOTOX, Collagen Injections and the Obagi Blue Peel since he opened his private practice in 1996. By 1999, he was one of the first in the Madison area to be offering Laser Hair Removal and Microdermabrasion.

In 2001, he founded AestheticA Skin Health Center, expanding the non-surgical treatments he was already offering in his Madison practice, to the Appleton area. This expansion provided people around the State with access to a physician, and his practices, that were committed to offering only those procedures that were scientifically-proven and time-tested to be safe, effective and highly satisfactory.

Dr. Parfitt's offices were recognized as Centers of Excellence by Allergan, Inc., the manufacturer of BOTOX® Cosmetic in 2003. In that same year, Dr. Parfitt was chosen by Allergan to become a member of the BOTOX® Cosmetic National Education Faculty (NEF). Since then, only two other physicians in Wisconsin have been chosen to become a member of the NEF. As a member of the faculty, Dr. Parfitt trains other physicians on the proper use of BOTOX® for Cosmetic purposes. He annually attends meetings with other physicians from throughout the United States and Canada who are considered the best BOTOX® Cosmetic physicians in their Countries. These meetings ensure that Dr. Parfitt is one of the most educated and up-to-date Wisconsin physicians, knowing the latest and best uses of BOTOX® Cosmetic.
