Laser Vein Removal

spider vein removal Madison WI spider vein removal Appleton WIAt AestheticA, we have state-of-the-art lasers that eliminate small reddish "broken capillaries" and "spider veins", red moles and spots. Lasers can selectively treat these vascular lesions without breaking or hurting the normal surrounding skin. During treatment, the laser light is absorbed by oxyhemoglobin, or bright red blood cells carrying oxygen, causing decomposition by heat of the unwanted cells.

Laser Pigment Removal

Pigmented lesions such as freckles, lentigines (flat, brown spots), keratoses and warts are successfully eliminated with laser treatment. The laser can selectively treat unwanted brown spots, keratoses and warts without breaking or hurting the normal surrounding skin. During treatment, the laser light is absorbed by melanin (black or brown pigment found in the skin) causing destruction by heat of the unwanted cells.

Tattoo Removal Madison WI

Laser Tattoo removal treatments are currently only offered at our Madison WI location.

Artificial implantation of pigments into the skin (tattoos) can be removed without cutting or burning the skin and without scarring. Q-switched lasers use an intense beam of light to remove and lighten tattoos without harming the surrounding healthy skin cells. As the light is absorbed within the treatment area, it is converted to heat. The sudden rise in temperature within the treatment area causes the ink to shatter into tiny particles. The fragments of ink are then carried away by the lymphatic system.

The treated tattoo’s color, depth and chemical composition of the ink all affect how it will respond to the laser light. Although some colors respond more quickly than others, most tattoos can be successfully treated, given a sufficient number of treatments.

This laser may also be used for the treatment of Port Wine Stains and other birthmarks.
