This special ingredient provides a unique surface action, which increases the skin's ability to absorb the nourishing compounds of the products. When used according to the instructions, these ingredients provide many benefits.
The Obagi NU-DERM™ System:
- Stimulates collagen and elastin formation, a process that slows down during aging and one which can be reactivated, resulting in stronger, more resilient skin.

Q: Can I put make-up on while on The Obagi NU-DERM System?
A: Yes, although it is not advised, particularly in the Very Aggressive or Moderately Aggressive Approaches. Always use water based, oil-free makeup. The skin will still appear flaky.
Q: Can I have activity in the sun while I am on the Obagi NU-DERM System?
A: Yes, if you use the Sunfader (SPF 15), Healthy Skin Protection (SPF 35) or Sun Shield (SPF 50) and reduce unnecessary, prolonged sun exposure. Avoid the sun from 10am-2pm, wear protective clothing and reapply SPF every 60 - 90 minutes.
